Sunday 7th July - University of Birmingham Round-Up
It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league overall this week. We were however disappointed to see non-attendances for the second game running from White Horse and Athletics, leaving us with no choice but to remove both from the league.
We also saw FDL and Ucheball missing from their fixtures, and look forward to seeing both return next week.
In the Premier League division, DADS ARMY emerged victorious with a 4 - 0 win against Alton Wanderers FC. Chivas Supplemento also secured a win over the SB Generals with a 3 - 1 scoreline. In an exciting match, Broderick AFC outshined Chiellini Con Carne, ending the game at 3 - 1. Meanwhile, Cadballerz clinched a narrow victory over Brothel FC, ending the game at 2 - 1. Harry from DADS ARMY illustrated a standout performance, earning the title of top scorer in the Premier League division with 2 goals.
Over in Division 1, Up The Cru narrowly defeated The Hungry Boys, with a final scoreline of 4 - 3. METCH FC also celebrated a win over Chivas Primera, finishing the game at 3 - 1. The top scorer in this division was Oscar from METCH FC, who netted an impressive 3 goals.
In Division 2, The Cotters outplayed Diamond Scrubs with a 4 - 1 victory, while Top Gs defeated Sharkys Saints 2 - 0. Sevilla Tism FC and Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys battled to a 2 - 2 draw, and in a thrilling match, Kathys Boys narrowly defeated Robben Me Blind with a 3 - 2 scoreline. Dan from Kathy's Boys was crowned top scorer with 3 goals.
Lastly, Division 3 saw a 1 - 1 draw between Jose 6 and BOSHERS FC while GamingSoc dominated Dead Ballers FC, winning the game with a resounding 10 - 0 scoreline.
