Northampton 7-a-side Sunday league: Weekly Recap

The Northampton 7-a-side Sunday league returned with more high-octane football this week. 

PhatSeshUnited and Real Northants kicked us off, playing out an intense 2-2 draw. Team Alpha maintained their spot atop the table with another solid win, this time beating Hangover FC 3-1. 

NN Boyz are making a serious charge for that top spot, however. This week they received a walkover as their opponents were unavailable, and played out a friendly against Never Back Down FC. 

In their own official match, Never Back Down were sensational, winning 7-2 against Chiltern. The Old Firm dropped out of the top two though, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by a resilient Whilton FC.
