Northampton Sunday 7-a-side: Brand New Season!

A brand new season of the Northampton 7-a-side Sunday league got underway at the University of Northampton pitches this week, with some cracking action to start us off. 

Reigning champions Team Alpha beat the Misfits 3-1 to kick off their title defence. Runners-up NN Boyz also started strong with a 2-0 win over Never Back Down FC. 

Real Northants took on new boys Gromit Mug FC, in a tight game that ended 1-1. Hangover FC got a walkover, as Whilton FC cruised to a 6-1 win over Chiltern. 

The new season looks poised to deliver another exciting title race. Stay tuned for more action in Northampton over the next few weeks.
