Northampton Sunday 7-a-side league: Weekly News

This week the Northampton Sunday 7-a-side league saw some tremendous matches once again to follow on from the last round. 

The action kicked off with a shock result, as 7th placed Whilton FC took down Team Alpha, who were top of the league before they were beaten 2-0 by a solid Whilton side. The Old Firm consequently managed to claim top spot with a stylish performance, thrashing Chiltern 10-1.

Never Back Down FC claimed a 4-2 win against Real Northants, before NN Boyz and PhatSeshUnited drew 2-2, with the former dropping from third to fourth as Hangover FC climbed up thanks to their walkover.
