Northampton Sunday 7-a-side: Thrilling Action!

The Northampton 7-a-side league saw some pulsating football this week at the Uni of Northampton pitches. 

NGH United took on Skippers FC in a tight match to start off the round, with the former edging out a 2-1 win. Never Back Down FC were handed a walkover against Zinedine Milan. 

League leaders Team Alpha took to the field, facing off against closer rivals Hangover FC in second. The leaders proved too strong as they cruised to a 4-0 win, knocking Hangover into third. 

NN Boyz flew to an incredible 8-1 win against The Misfits to climb into fifth place, while Whilton managed a narrow but important win against Gromit Mug to stay in touching distance of the top two spots.
