Northampton 7-a-side football league: Results Recap

The University of Northampton pitches saw goals galore in the Northampton 7-a-side football league across five high-quality matches.

1200 United and Injuries 'R' Us kicked off the week's action, with the latter pulling off a 3-2 victory to climb up into 5th place, and just a point behind their week's opponents. 

Dribblers Unite claimed their third win of the season by beating Crystal Phallus 3-2, but slid into 8th place below Sean Paul United despite being level on points with them and Vic Farm in 6th. Just a testament to how competitive the league is.

Post Magnet FC continued their fine form to keep pace with leaders Pique United, by gaining a solid 2-0 win over Vic Farm FC. 

As for the leaders, they played out the most thrilling game of the round by far, as they beat third-placed Unathletico Madrid 7-4 in a pulsating encounter.
