Another great round of fixtures was played at the University of Northampton pitches in the Tuesday 7-a-side league.
The action began with a surprise result, as seventh-placed Vic Farm FC stunned second-placed Pique United to claim a 2-1 win. It goes to show how closely matched all the middle teams are, with everyone from fourth to seventh nearly level on points.
Sean Paul United and Crystal Phallus played out a nine-goal thriller, as the former claimed a 6-3 win. Injuries R Us got a big result in another high-scoring match, as they beat Unathletico Madrid 5-3 to leapfrog them into third.
League leaders Post Magnet FC got a walkover as Dribblers Unite were unavailable, and so did 1200 United in their points match due to a vacant spot in the league.
