Northampton Tuesday 7-a-side: Weekly News

The Northampton Tuesday 7-a-side league saw a slow day this week, as only one official match was played at the University of Northampton pitches. 

Tea and Busquets, Skippers FC and and Injuries R Us all received walkovers, before Unathletico Madrid and Cassidy FC locked horns in a tight contest. 

After some free-flowing football, Unathletico managed to come away with the 3-2 win to maintain their two-point lead atop the standings. 

Remember though, you can always pay and play as usual, even when you have a walkover. If you turn up, a friendly can be arranged against another team who may be available on the day.
