Sunday 10th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week.  We did have a few teams missing due to Mothers Day commitments, but we welcome back Seats R Us, Woo Town Boys and Name TBC to the action this week.  We've removed Matip or Dalot from the league as they failed to attend for a second straight week.

We welcome new team Oliver Skipp Leg Day to the league as a replacement for the above, wishing these good luck going into their game on Sunday 17th March.

In the Premier League, Worcester Team showed their supremacy by thrashing 6IX DEFENDERS 6-2. It was a scintillating performance from the Worcester Team, showcasing their attacking prowess and leaving no doubt about their intentions for the rest of the season.

The Division 1 fixtures were equally exciting. Brom FC succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Victor Moses Lawn in a closely contested match. The high scoring match of the week, however, was CUNNY FUNTS demolishing PLJ FC 11-0, a victory showcasing their unyielding determination. Mafia FC also secured victory against Munter Hunters with a 5-3 scoreline in what was an edge-of-the-seat encounter. In another match, INTER Ya Nan and BTD FC fought to a 2-2 draw.

The action in Division 2 was equally thrilling. Andy Grays Anatomy narrowly lost to Toe Poke FC 1-0 in a fiercely contested match. Leek In Defence and The Mechanics battled to a pulsating 5-5 draw, and MurderOnZidanesFloor overwhelmed Romasexuals with a resounding 7-1 victory.

The top scorers of the week were from CUNNY FUNTS in Division 1, making a clear statement with their double-digit score. In the Premier League, the glory went to Worcester Team with their haul of six goals, and Division 2 saw MurderOnZidanesFloor take the honors with seven goals.

We wish all teams good luck ahead of the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
