Sunday 16th February - University of Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all divisions.  The only exception to this being Mafia FC who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 23rd February.


In the Premier League division, INTER YOUR NAN FC emerged victorious against Not In Your Mums Forest with a 3-1 scoreline. Active Python displayed their offensive prowess with a 4-1 victory over La Familia. Moreover, Only Matip In outperformed Squirt Zouma with a convincing 4-1 win. The standout performance was by Active Python's striker, whose hat-trick tilted the game in their favor.


Over in Division 1, Donnarumma Kebab SFC edged Brom FC 2-1, while BTD FC secured a 2-0 win against Holding Matip. The most notable result was John Duran A Marathon's 3-0 triumph over Victor Moses Lawn. Also, La Familia 2 narrowly defeated Toe Poke FC with a 2-1 score. The top scorer's title was clinched by John Duran A Marathon's forward with an impressive three goals.


Turning our attention to Division 2, Chum Fc bested Brexit Ballers 2-1, and Broken Ankles wrecked havoc on Two Girls One Schlupp with a 9-1 victory. PLJ FC beat Fruity Dons FC 4-2, while Ben's Balls triumphed against Tin Foil Hats FC with a 2-1 scoreline. Broken Ankles' striker was the top scorer, netting a whopping six goals.


In Division 3, Oldbury Park Old Boys edged Chaps FC 3-2. Tikki Takka Toe outplayed Desex Friends with a 3-1 victory, and The 69ers beat Macgregors Mighty Men 3-0. The top scorer was The 69ers' forward, who scored all three goals, ensuring their team's victory.
