It was a good evening's football in the University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring two. Disappointingly, despite offering assurances they would be continuing, Woo Town failed to attend for a second consecutive week, whilst new team CS Romania also failed to show, both have been removed.
We welcome back Matip or Dalot to the league as they decided they wish to continue, they play from Sunday 24th March.
In the Premier League, GD Palops Worcester dominated the field, delivering a crushing defeat to Oliver Skipp Leg Day with a remarkable score of 13-0. Worcester Team also showcased their dominance, outclassing UoW Futsal 1 with a score of 8-1. It was a week of high-scoring games that left spectators in awe of the skill and strategy on display.
Division 1 also saw its fair share of action, with Mafia FC leading the charge by defeating BTD FC 5-0. INTER Ya Nan also made their mark, shutting out Brom FC with a 2-0 victory. The clash of the week was undoubtedly between PLJ FC and Victor Moses Lawn, where both teams showcased their prowess, ending the match in a 2-2 draw.
Division 2 was not short of excitement either. Leek In Defence claimed a significant victory over Romasexuals with a score of 8-1, signaling their intent to run for the title. The game between MurderOnZidane'sFloor and Not In Your Mums Forest also kept fans on the edge of their seats, ending with a 6-3 victory for MurderOnZidane'sFloor.
We wish all teams good luck going into game week 10 of the season with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
