Sunday 19th May - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played across all three divisions, the only exception being Peanut Butter Bandits who will be spoken to and confirmed to return on Sunday 26th May.

In the Premier League division, 6ix Defenders managed to edge out Worcester Team by a solitary goal. The game was an end-to-end battle with both teams showing great defensive solidarity. However, 6ix Defenders managed to break the deadlock and secure a well-deserved victory.

Meanwhile, Mafia FC secured a hard-fought 4-2 win over Worcester United. Scoregasm and Borussia Teeth shared the spoils in a closely contested 1-1 draw. However, the highlight of the Premier League division was undoubtedly CHAMPS FC's dominant 6-0 victory over CUNNY FUNTS, marking a spectacular performance by the entire team.

In Division 1, a tight game saw Oliver Skipp Leg Day edge past Brexit Ballers 2-1. Not In Your Mums Forest and Victor Moses Lawn couldn’t be separated, ending in a 1-1 draw. Brom FC managed a clean 2-0 win over Name TBC, while INTER Ya Nan displayed an excellent performance with a 4-0 drubbing of Haller You Kante.

The highest scoring match of the week took place in Division 2, where Haller You Kante 2 demolished Romasexuals with an outstanding 11-0 victory, a testament to their attacking might. PLJ FC and Donnarumma Kebab SFC played out a hard-fought 3-3 draw, while Holding Matip showed defensive solidity, securing a 4-0 win against Leek In Defence.
