Sunday 1st September - University of Worcester Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Worcester University Sunday 6 a side league this week as the new season kicked off.  We were however disappointed at the non-attendances from Cunny Funts and Scoregasm for the first game of the campaign.  Both have now been removed from the league.

On a positive note, we welcome new team Toe Poke FC into the league, they have played with us previously and we wish these good luck in their opening game.  We have ONE MORE AVAILABLE SPACE at present, so anyone interested is advised to sign up ASAP to avoid disappointment.

In the Premier League, the 6IX DEFENDERS made a strong statement with a compelling 4-0 victory over Victor Moses Lawn. CHAMPS FC also made an impressive start to their campaign, with an emphatic 5-0 win over SUPER SIX. Additionally, Haller You Kante overpowered Grupo Desportivo Dos Palops-Worcester with a 5-2 victory.

Division 1 saw closely contested matches, with Out On Bale clinching a narrow 3-2 victory over BTD FC. In an incredible battle, Oliver Skipp Leg Day fought hard but eventually succumbed to Haller You Kante 2 with a 5-4 loss. Not In Your Mums Forest showcased their offensive prowess with a commanding 5-0 demolition of INTER Ya Nan.

Lastly, in Division 2, the match between Romasexuals and Brexit Ballers ended in a tense 1-1 draw. PLJ FC put up a brave fight but fell short against Donnarumma Kebab SFC, losing 2-4. Holding Matip provided the standout performance of the division, utterly defeating Name TBC with an 8-0 triumph.
