It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring cancellations from Squirt Zouma and Mafia FC, both of which have now been removed from the league.
In the Premier League, a tightly contested match saw La Familia edge out Only Matip with a 3-2 victory. Not In Your Mums Forest also claimed a narrow 3-2 win over Active Python, showcasing the tenacious spirit that runs deep within the league.
Division 1 painted a similar picture of closely fought games. Brom FC secured a comfortable 2-0 win over La Familia 2, demonstrating their dominance. In a high scoring match, John Duran A Marathon ran away with a 6-1 victory against Toe Poke FC. Holding Matip and Donnarumma Kebab SFC also claimed victories with 1-0 and 3-1 score lines over Victor Moses Lawn and BTD FC, respectively.
In Division 2, Brexit Ballers delivered a masterclass of football, thrashing Ben's Balls with a whopping 10-0 victory. PLJ FC barely scraped a win in a thrilling 4-3 game against Tin Foil Hats FC, while Two Girls One Schlupp secured a 1-0 win over Fruity Dons FC. In another high-scoring match, Chum FC outlasted Broken Ankles 4-2.
Division 3 saw Chaps FC triumph over Romasexuals with a 2-1 score, while Tikki Takka Toe pulled off a narrow one-goal victory against The 69ers with a 5-4 score. Desex Friends pulled off a convincing 6-1 triumph over Oldbury Park Old Boys.
