Sunday 26th January - University of Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week.  We were however disappointed to see non-attendances from two teams.  We have removed Up The Sauce from the league due to their recent unreliability, we look forward to seeing Squirt Zouma return as normal for the next round of fixtures though.

We welcome new team Active Python into the league as a replacement for the above removal, and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 2nd February.

In the Premier League, 'Only Matip In' emerged victorious against 'Inter Your Nan FC' with a scoreline of 3-1, while 'Not In Your Mums Forest' bagged a clean sheet victory against 'La Familia,' finishing the game 3-0.

Down in Division 1, the atmosphere was equally electrifying. 'Brom FC' fell short to 'Victor Moses Lawn' in a 3-1 showdown. 'BTD FC' showcased their prowess with an impressive 5-1 win over 'Toe Poke FC.' The match between 'Donnarumma Kebab SFC' and 'La Familia 2' ended in a goalless draw, while 'Holding Matip' was no match for 'John Duran A Marathon' suffering a 4-0 defeat.

In Division 2, 'Brexit Ballers' came out on top against 'Fruity Dons FC' winning 4-2. 'Broken Ankles' dominated 'Tin Foil Hats FC' with a whopping 6-0 victory, and 'Chum FC' secured a comfortable triumph over 'Ben's Balls' with a scoreline of 5-2. 'Two Girls One Schlupp' narrowly defeated 'PLJ FC' 4-3 in an intensely contested match.

Finally, in Division 3, 'Chaps FC' registered a comprehensive 6-1 win against 'The 69ers.' 'Desex Friends' routed 'South Wales United' with an 8-0 win, and 'Oldbury Park Old Boys' came out on top against 'Romasexuals' with a 5-2 victory. 'Tikki Takka Toe' were defeated 3-1 by 'Macgregors Mighty Men.'
