Sunday 28th April - Worcester End of Season Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week, as the season came to an end with some well competed matches played.

In the Premier League, the title was clinched by Worcester Team in a landslide victory. They delivered a crushing 14-0 defeat over Oliver Skipp Leg Day, capping off a truly dominant season. With an unbeaten run of 14 wins, and a grand total of 28 points, they’ve set a high standard for the upcoming season.

Division 1 saw an equally impressive performance from CUNNY FUNTS, who secured the trophy with a 4-1 triumph over INTER Ya Nan. Their persistence and consistent performance throughout the season paid off, with 28 points gathered from 14 wins.

In Division 2, the title went to Name TBC, who stormed to a 6-0 victory over Leek In Defence. They wrapped up their season with a tally of 21 points from 10 wins, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with.

The final week was not without its share of high drama, as Haller You Kante and CHAMPS FC battled it out in a tense 3-3 draw in the Premier League, while Romasexuals and The Mechanics shared the points in a 2-2 draw in Division 2.
