Sunday 29th October - University of Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week.  We had a handful of absentees but all have confirmed their return's to action on Sunday.   We look forward to seeing 2 Left Feet, Murder on Zidane's Floor, Ben's Balls and Name TBC back in attendance for this weekends action.

In the Premier League, Victor Moses Lawn claimed a narrow victory over UoW Futsal 1 in a tightly contested match, securing a 1-0 win. Worcester Team also edged past Haller You Kante with a solitary goal. The highlight of the evening was, however, GD Palops Worcester's emphatic 8-1 triumph over Injured FC, showcasing their attacking prowess. SEATS R US also registered an impressive 4-1 win over Matip Or Dalot, rounding off the Premier League matches for the week.

In Division 1, Brom FC dominated PLJ FC with a whopping 6-0 victory. CHAMPS FC outscored Not In Your Mums Forest 8-1 in a one-sided affair. The match between LEAVEMEARSELONA and Haller You Kante 2 ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw, giving both teams something to smile about.

Moving on to Division 2, The Mechanics displayed a splendid performance against Romasexuals, winning the match 6-2.

As we move into the seventh week of the league, the competition is heating up and teams will be looking to improve their performances. The fans can certainly look forward to more exciting matches and stellar performances in the coming weeks.   We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
