Sunday 5th May - Worcester Round-Up

It was a mixed evening in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week, disappointing to see a handful of teams not attending their fixtures.  We have removed GD Palops and Toe Poke from the league following their non-attendances, and welcome back as normal Inter Ya Nan, Victor Moses Lawn and The Mechanics this weekend coming.

We welcome new teams Peanut Butter Bandits and Haller You Kante 2 to the league as replacements for the removed ones, wishing both good luck heading into this weekend.

In the Premier League division, 6IX DEFENDERS made a powerful debut, trouncing Worcester United with a resounding 7-1 victory. Worcester Team also started on a strong note, crushing Borussia Teeth with a remarkable 9-1 scoreline. Mafia FC set a strong precedent for the season too, beating CHAMPS FC 6-1 in a thrilling encounter.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Brom FC showed they meant business with a solid 5-0 victory over Oliver Skipp Leg Day. But the spotlight was truly on Haller You Kante. With an impressive 15-1 win over Not In Your Mums Forest, they undoubtedly set the bar high for the rest of the season.

Over in Division 2, Leek In Defence managed to keep a clean sheet in their 4-0 victory over Romasexuals, while PLJ FC and MurderOnZidanesFloor ended in a well-fought stalemate with a 3-3 draw.
