Sunday 8th September - University of Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches across all three divisions, the only exception being a cancellation from Out On Bale on what was due to be their final game in the league anyway, they have now been removed, as have Inter Ya Nan who played their final game.

On a positive note, we welcome new teams Sussy Six and Wagons Roll FC to the league as replacements, we wish both good luck going into their first fixtures on Sunday 15th September.

In the Premier League division, Grupo Desportivo Dos Palops - Worcester clearly asserted dominance by seizing an impressive 6-2 victory over 6IX DEFENDERS. The action-packed game saw the team rise to the top. Meanwhile, CHAMPS FC and Mafia FC concluded their game in a 3-3 draw, indicating the stiff competition in the division. On another field, SUPER SIX outpaced Victor Moses Lawn with a promising 3-1 victory, further intensifying the competition in the division.

Moving into Division 1, the adrenaline-filled games saw the teams giving their best performances. Brom FC and INTER Ya Nan ended their game in a 1-1 draw, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. Haller You Kante 2 secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Not In Your Mums Forest, while BTD FC and Oliver Skipp Leg Day concluded their match in a 2-2 draw.

Division 2 saw the most goal-rich matches of the night, as the Brexit Ballers overpowered Leek In Defence with a 4-1 victory. Holding Matip and Sin-Bier-Bush FC settled for a 1-1 draw, while Donnarumma Kebab SFC delivered a solid 4-1 victory over Name TBC. Romasexuals also registered a remarkable 3-1 win over PLJ FC.
