All 16 teams were out in force at our Valley Park School Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side league. While Astro Worldies continue to dominate the Prem there is all to play for in Div 1 as the title race continues to go back and forth between the top three.
We start our results round up in the Premier League where Astro Worldies cruised to a comfortable 7-0 win over Shush FC with goals from Zak Francis 3, Harrison Mayhew, Adam Gosling and Tyler Sinclair. This was Worldies 11th win in a row this season and secured another title for them as second place Real Ale Madrid lost ground after going down 3-1 to The Upbeats. Tom Dunk, Adam Bourne and Jamie Butler scoring for The Upbeats. Mind Of Mata boosted their survival hopes with a 7-1 victory against bottom side Exeter Gently. Jacob Harris with 5 strikes to help them on their way. The closest match in the Prem came between Geri Hat-tricks and FC Marden as Geri pipped them 4-3 to move up to 4th. Geri goalscorers were Harry Knight, Hayden Giffard 2 and Ian Globe while Oliver Ruler, Liam James and Darren Naylor replied for Marden.
2 Goals 1 Cup are the new leaders in Div 1 as they edged fantastic contest with Seshball to win 2-1 and go two points clear of their opponents. 2 Girls 1 Schlupp are also not far behind in third as they saw off Inter Yernan FC 5-1 with Henry 3, Connor and Nathan all finding the back of the net. Despite a goal from captain Cam Daniel Kazakhstan went down 3-1 to Boobs N Doobs who had Josh Strydom 2 and Matt Jasper to thank for their goals. Finally Norfolk In Way You're Winning were on form as they defeated Cream Rises 7-1. Tommy Clark hitting a hat-trick while Max Lamb 2, Dan G and Chris Collins also scored. Captain Alex Dennehy in reply for Cream Rises.
