Halfway point reached at Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side

We've reached the halfway point of the season at our Maidstone Wednesday night 6 a side league down at Valley Park School. Both divisions are wide open and there were some fantastic matches on Wednesday evening.

The Upbeats remain top of the Premier League by a point as they won a nine goal thriller with She Was Only XI 5-4, Colin Hewitt with 4 goals in this one. Roma Sexuals picked up a points match win with Mind Of Mata not able to attend at late notice, however they will be returning next week. Seshball are 3 points off the leaders in third and they recorded a 8-3 victory against Geri Hat-tricks, captain Nic Bell banging in 5 goals. The other match saw Crouch Potato climb to 4th after a 4-2 win over Goal Hangers R Us.

Gently Exeter are back on top of Div 1 as they picked up a points match win with 2 Girls 1 Schlupp away this week, Schlupp will be back in action next week. Norfolk In Way You're Winning are up into the promotion places as they won 5-2 against Boobs N Doobs. The other two games were tight as Inter Yernan shared a 2-2 draw with Cream Rises while captain Cam Daniel fired in 4 goals to lead his side Sneaky Castro to a 5-4 win over Useless FC.
