Good to see 15 sides down at our Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side evening at Valley Park School as they new season got underway. Sadly Dudley weren't able to make it due to a serious health issue for their captain. Thankfully he is on the mend now and we all wish him a speedy recovery. Thank you to the lads that stayed on so Maidstone Charvis still had a game, much appreciated.
We kick off our round up with a look at the opening day results in the Premier League. Connor Lewis was the hat-trick hero in this one as captain Jacob Waterfield bagged a brace along with a goal from Brad Pitman. There was another hat-trick in the game funnily enough between Geri Hat-tricks and Exeter Gently, this one went to Jamie Stevens as Geri Hat-tricks ran out 5-1 winners. The other result in the Prem saw an opening day win for newly promoted Portugeezers who defeated Mind Of Mata 3-0.
