Maidstone 6 a side Wednesday is back!

It has been 6 months since we last played at our Maidstone 6 a side league at Valley Park School, it's way way to long to be without football. It was great to see the majority of teams return with a couple of new teams replacing teams that have gone off to Uni. We do also have teams on the waiting list for the league so we are in the process of trying to secure some more pitch time at the venue.

Onto the football and there was 4 great games that took place with Real Ale Madrid entering the league in top spot with Crystal Phallas unable to return, it is a bit strange for a team to come in and take over at the top but we live in strange times and Real Ale Madrid didn't disappoint as they played and won an entertaining match with Geri-Hat-tricks 5-3. MK Dongs remain 4 points behind as they picked up a 8-2 victory over Nice One, Son's Crying on their return. An old team with a new name Astro Worldies has come back to the league and they took their first points with a 7-3 win over Six On The Beach. Finally 3rd placed 2 Girls 1 Schlupp came through a tough match with a guest team who filled in for Boba Seniors this week, Schlupp winning 3-1.
