It was a wet and wild night down at our Valley Park School venue for match day 7 of our Maidstone Wednesday night 6 a side league. All teams were in attendance apart from Mind Of Mata who will be back next week. Thank you to Seshball for helping out and coming early.
Top of the Premier League has a familiar look about it as Astro Worldies continue to dominate the proceedings down at Valley Park. Their latest win coming against Exeter Gently with top scorer Harrison Mayhew scoring all 6. The victory keeps them 4 points clear at the top having won all 7 of their games so far this season. Portugeezers moved up to second in the table as they defeated The Upbeats 8-2. In other results FC Marden closed the gap to third place to just two points as they narrowly beat Real Al Madrid 3-2. Geri Hat-trick picked up a points match win due to Mind Of Mata being away.
The top 3 teams in Div 1 weirdly all scored 8 goals last night. The leaders Seshball stay a point out in front after a 8-1 win over Boobs N Doobs. 2 Goals 1 Cup are second as they beat Cream Rises 8-2 while 2 Goals 1 Schlupp also scored 8 with a 8-2 victory over Kazakhstan. The final game in Div 1 was much tighter as Norfolk In Way You're Winning got the better of Inter Yernan FC 4-2.
