MAIDSTONE WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 7

We reached the halfway point of our Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side season last night. The majority of teams were in attendance apart from Wanyama's who will be back next week. Here's a look at all the ups and downs from another excellent night of football at Valley Park:

PREMIER LEAGUE

24KCider are running away with the Premier League title this season but they didn't have an easy game last night, Lobs FC put in an excellent performance but came up just short as 24K took the win 2-1. The victory takes them six points clear of second place The Keita Success. Keita lost some ground as they went down 4-2 to Beercelona, Harry Cromwell scoring twice for Beercelona. Sneaky Castro are up to third as they continue to climb the table, defeating Ben Mee Over 5-2 while the other game saw Seshball win 7-4 against Mandem FC.

DIVISION ONE

Barely Athletic held onto top spot in Div 1 after an entertaining 7-6 win against Get The Badge In, Kavan Murphy hitting a hat-trick for the table toppers, Dan Barrie was also on target three times for Get The Badge In but couldn't prevent the loss. Second place Boobs N Doobs had a 5-0 win due to Wanyama's being away, they remain a point behind. Phil Mc Corey continue to dominate their games since joining, they picked up a big 10-0 win over Bottle Job FC with Dylan Holness scoring six times. Finally Brexit Ballers lifted themselves out of the bottom two with a 1-0 win over Ronaldfc.
