Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news 2025-01-15

The adrenaline-pumping action of the popular Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side Football league continued last night in what was the fifth week of the ongoing season.

Premier Division 

the series of matches saw a few draws but also some noteworthy performances. Lobs United and Big Diesels played to a hard-fought 1-1 draw, while Scorgasms triumphed over LadsOnToure with a score of 5-3 in an exciting high-scoring match. The biggest win margin was seen in the Hangover 96 versus Stubbed Mittoma clash, with the former steamrolling their opponents 8-0. The Brenchley Faithful also put on a spectacular performance, beating Borussia Teeth 6-1.

Division 1's top scorer of the week was Haroun Ahaouari of Brenchley Faithful, who netted four goals in his team's victory over Borussia Teeth, making a significant contribution to their decisive win.

Division 2

Romasexuals handed a crushing defeat to Hardly Athletic FC with a 4-0 scoreline. Headcoren FC emerged victorious against Stroke Titty, scoring six goals against the latter's three. Invicta Motors FC had a commendable 5-1 victory over Turkish De Ligt. The highest tally of the division came with VB FC outclassing Schindlers Assist 10-4, while Get The Badge In narrowly edged out Bottle Job FC 1-0.

The week's standout player in Division 2 was Matthew Thwaites of Invicta Motors FC, who scored a whopping five goals in his team's victory. His impressive performance has certainly earned him the spotlight.
