The much-anticipated Maidstone Wednesday Football League season kicked off last night with a slew of high-octane action in both Division 1 and Division 2.

Division 1

The crowd was treated to a goal fest as LadsOnToure rampaged through Hangover 96 with a commanding 7-2 victory. The star of the match was undeniably Josh who delivered an impressive performance, netting seven goals for LadsOnToure making him the top scorer in his division for the evening.

Brenchley Faithful showed their quality against Shed VI, securing a 5-2 win. Meanwhile, Lobs United narrowly triumphed over Double Pogba And Koke 1-0 in a tightly contested match, demonstrating the high level of competition in the division.

Division 2

863 FC and Hardly Athletic FC engaged in a thrilling game, which saw Finley Perry-Lewis of 863 FC stealing the show with four goals, making him the top scorer of the night in his division. His efforts saw 863 FC take the win with a final score of 7-5.

Chunky CF and Get The Badge In also had an exciting showdown with Chunky CF edging out a 5-4 win. A close competition between Youths FC and They See Me Brolin resulted in a 3-2 win for the latter. Meanwhile, Big Diesels and Bottle Job FC fought to a 4-4 draw in a riveting match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
