Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 1

In the world of local football, the Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side league kicked off its first week of the new season with thrilling matches in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Albions Degenerates made an emphatic statement, defeating Haller Akbar 7-0. The undeniable star of the match was Jack Piper, who netted two goals, effortlessly leading his team to a resounding victory. In another match, LadsOnToure defeated Brenchley Faithful 6-2, demonstrating their intent for the season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the competition was fierce. Hangover 96 managed to edge out Romasexuals 2-1 in a nerve-wracking game. McNeil Deal FC and Double Pogba And Koke offered us an absolute spectacle, with the latter team snatching a 5-4 win. Max Coleman shone in the match, scoring a remarkable hat-trick for Double Pogba And Koke and becoming the top scorer in the division. In addition, Ukrainian Wolves earned a 3-0 victory over Borussia Teeth.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, the matches were equally exciting. Invicta Motors FC and Get The Badge In ended the game in a 3-3 draw, while Scorgasms overcame Bottle Job FC 4-1. However, the highlight of the division was the Athletic Dildao's impressive 5-2 victory over Tekkerslovakia. The standout player of this division was Alex Dennehy, who managed two goals for Get The Badge In.

The first week of the Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side league has set the tone for an exciting season for all three divisions. The top scorers have already started to make their mark and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season will unfold.
