Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 14

We were treated to a thrilling week 14 of the Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side football league. The results from both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions were announced, keeping us on the edge of our seats as the teams battled it out on the pitch.

PREMIER LEAGUE

The Premier League was a showcase of skill and tenacity. The match between Hangover 96 and Tea And Busquets ended in a 2-2 draw, with Max Butler from Hangover 96 proving his mettle as top scorer, netting 2 goals. The contest between Billers N Ballers and Albions Degenerates saw the latter emerge victoriously with a 3-1 scoreline. Borussia Teeth and Brenchley Faithful both triumphed with a 3-1 victory against Munter Hunters and McNeil Deal FC respectively. Meanwhile, leaders LadsOnToure also racked up a 3-1 win against Lobs United, rounding off the week's results.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Bottle Job FC edged out World VI 3-2 in a closely contested match. Leaders Invicta Motors FC delivered an impressive performance, defeating Ohio Rizzlers 7-1, with Dylan from Invicta Motors FC standing out as top scorer with a hat-trick as they went 3 points clear at the top. Athletic Dildao managed to secure a 4-1 victory against Tekkerslovakia while Mo Leicesters fell short against Sleepy Morgan, ending in a 2-1 defeat.

The week's games served as a testament to the high level of competition and sportsmanship in the league. With the season progressing rapidly, the coming weeks promise even more exhilarating football as the teams continue to battle it out until the end.
