Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 5

In week five of the Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, we were treated to a thrilling set of matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Albions Degenerates edged Brenchley Faithful 2-1 in a tightly contested match. LadsOnToure and Murder On Zidanes Floor clashed in a nine-goal thriller that saw the latter clinching a narrow 5-4 victory. Lobs United delivered the most resounding victory of the division, defeating Big Diesels with a commanding 6-1 scoreline. Lobs United’s captain Jack Amos led the charge with a hat-trick.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 saw Romasexuals achieve a narrow 1-0 victory over Borussia Teeth. Ukrainian Wolves dominated their match against Double Pogba And Koke, delivering a 5-1 victory. Meanwhile, Hangover 96 managed a 3-1 win over Turkish De Ligt. The division’s top scorer this week was Bohdan Tsiuriupa from Ukrainian Wolves, who netted twice for his side.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, we were treated to high scoring games. Scorgasms outclassed Get The Badge In with a 6-1 victory, while Bottle Job FC secured a 6-2 win over Athletic Dildao. Invicta Motors FC also triumphed with a 2-0 victory against new team Gordon And The Galaxy. Ali Wiseman from Bottle Job FC was the standout performer in this division, scoring an impressive five goals.

It was indeed an action-packed week that highlighted the thrilling dynamics of the league. The teams will be looking forward to carrying this momentum into the next week's fixtures, promising another exciting round of football.
