Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 6

A thrilling week 6 of the Maidstone Wednesday 6 a Side Football League unfolded with some remarkable games and mind-blowing performances.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Lobs United dominated the field with a 3-0 win against new team Morocco As Far. It was a sterling performance from Jack Amos, who solidified his position as the top scorer in the division this week, scoring two goals for Lobs United. The match between Big Diesels and LadsOnToure was a nail-biting affair, ending in a 3-2 victory for LadsOnToure. Furthermore, the Brenchley Faithful managed to edge Murder On Zidanes Floor out in a thrilling encounter, with the final score reading 3-2.

DIVISION ONE

The Division 1 games didn't disappoint either, with some high-scoring encounters lighting up the night. Hangover 96 triumphed over Double Pogba And Koke with an impressive scoreline of 6-2. Ukrainian Wolves mirrored this result, securing a 6-2 win against Romasexuals. But the highlight of Division 1 was Borussia Teeth's emphatic 7-0 victory over Turkish De Ligt. This win was largely credited to Matt Batstone, who netted an astonishing 4 goals, thus securing the title of top scorer for Division 1.

DIVISION TWO

The Division 2 matches were equally engaging. Gordon And The Galaxy suffered a defeat against Scorgasms with a 5-2 scoreline. In another high-scoring encounter, Bottle Job FC defeated Get The Badge In by 5-2. Oliver Taylor became the champion of the night in Division 2, scoring two goals for Bottle Job FC.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Derek for all his hard work and commitment to the league over the past few years. We started the Wednesday league with just 5 teams when I took over and now we have 18 teams on a Wednesday plus 12 on a Tuesday which Derek has been a big part of making happened.
