Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side results round up!

There are still 5 weeks left to play this season but the title race in the Prem is really exciting at our Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side league, lot's to play for in both divisions as we start the run in.

The big game in the Prem saw Roma Sexuals take on leaders The Upbeats knowing I win would see them leapfrog their opponents to the top of the table. The game proved to be close as expected with The Upbeats unable to find a way past the Roma defence or keeper, the final score 2-0 to Roma as they went top. Seshball were given a hard game by She Was Only XI proving how competitive the league is this season but held on for a 2-1 win, they are now up to second and only a point behind Roma while The Upbeats drop to third. In other results Mind Of Mata defeated Crouch Potato 4-3 while a fantastic game between Goal Hangers R Us and Geri Hat-tricks ended 5-5.

Gently Exeter continue to hold a 4 point lead at the top of Div 1 as Jamie scored a hat-trick for them in a 4-2 victory against Boobs N Doobs. A hat-trick for Miles Hanly and braces for Connor and Harry saw second place 2 Girls 1 Schlupp defeat Cream Rises 7-3. Norfolk In Way You're Winning also won to stay in third as they beat Sneaky Castro 3-1, finally Inter Yernan took the points after a 2-0 win over Useless FC.

It's great to see such a competitive league down at Valley Park and it would be nice to expand it however currently there is no extra pitch time available but we will keep trying to secure more with teams on the waiting list.
