All 16 teams were in attendance last night at our Maidstone Wednesday night 6 a side league at Valley Park School. There is plenty to play for still at the top of both divisions as we go into the last few weeks of the season.
At the top of the Premier League, leaders 2 Goals 1 Cup maintained their one point advantage with a 5-1 win against Real Ale Madrid, Harran with a hat-trick. Seshball aren't going away though as they won 4-0 against Crouch Potato with as the leagues top scoring Ethan Hinkley scored twice along with a couple from Josh Macmahon. Third place The Upbeats won 5-2 against She Was Only XI while a Sam Newland hat-trick helped Gently Exeter to a 5-2 victory against Geri Hat-tricks.
The top two in Div 1 were level on points going into week 10 as they took on each other. Norfolk In Way You're Winning remain top on goal difference as they shared the points with Mind Of Mata after a 2-2 draw. Harry Burgess scored 4 as 2 Girls 1 Schlupp defeated Useless 8-3 while Inter Yernan FC had a comfortable night as they won 10-2 against Boobs N Doobs, Josh Paris banged a hat-trick while Fergus Baker-Anderson went one better with 4. Finally there was a fantastic match as Cream Rises won yet again to climb to 5th in the table as they beat Sneaky Castro (formerly Kazakhstan) 4-3.
