New Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side season kicks off!

The highly anticipated Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side football league kicked off its season with a series of intense matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, offering a thrilling spectacle of the beautiful game.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Monarcos made an early statement with a convincing 3-0 victory over reigning champions Albions Degenerates. Meanwhile, Brenchley Faithful managed to edge past LadsOnToure in a high scoring game that ended 5-3. Jack Whitmore of Brenchley Faithful emerged as the Premier League's top scorer for the week, netting three goals to stake an early claim on the Golden Boot.

DIVISION ONE

The first week of the Division 1 season saw an impressive showing from Super Nani who narrowly triumphed over Bottle Job FC in a 5-4 nail-biter. Romasexuals and Hangover 96 played out a goalless draw, while Lobs United emerged victorious in a thrilling 5-4 encounter against Invicta Motors FC. Jack Amos of Lobs United topped the scoring charts in Division 1 with an impressive hat-trick.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Tekkerslovakia powered past Athletic Dildao with a 6-3 win, while Get The Badge In lived up to their name with a remarkable 5-1 victory over Sleepy Morgan. Callum Fillery of Get The Badge In marked his place as the top scorer in this division with a brace.

Overall, the inaugural week of the season offered a tantalizing glimpse of the action-packed season to come.
