Seshball at Worldies unbeaten run at Maidstone Wed 6 a side

All teams were in attendance last night at our Maidstone Wednesday Valley Park 6 a side league. There were some exciting matches in both divisions with the two promoted teams to the Premier League looking good.

In the Premier League Seshball who finished runners up to 2 Goals 1 Cup in Div 1 last season caused an upset as they defeated the reigning Premier League champions Astro Worldies 2-0 with goals from Richard Munn and Luke Frost. I'm sure Astro Worldies will come back strong from this setback but it's good to see other teams challenging them this season. While Seshball's result was the talking point in the league yesterday The Upbeats sealed a 4-2 win in their game against Shush FC to quietly move to the top of the table on 6 points. This was Upbeats third win in a row and see's them make a very promising start to the season. Div 1 champions 2 Goals 1 Cup have also impressed at the beginning of their first Premier League season as they moved into third with a 9-4 win over Geri-Hat-tricks while Real Ale Madrid picked up a points match win.

Mind Of Mata have made a fantastic start in Div 1 following on from relegation as they made it three wins from three with a 5-1 victory over Cream Rises. Two other teams sit on 5 points just behind Mata with Norfolk In Way You're Winning in second and Inter Yernan FC in third. Last night they came face to face with each other in a great game which ended in a 2-2 draw. In other results 2 Girls 1 Schlupp will be hoping to mount a promotion push as they defeated Kazakhstan 4-1 while Boobs N Doobs beat Useless FC by the same scoreline.
