Wet night down at Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side

It was a wet night down at Valley Park School last night, as it was for much of the country. Our Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side league went into week 9 of the fixtures with plenty to play for.

In the Premier League the top 4 took on the bottom 4 teams and it went with form as the top 4 were all victorious. 2 Goals 1 Cup remain top of the table after a 10-4 win against Real Ale Madrid. Seshball are a point behind as they beat Crouch Potato 6-2 while The Upbeats managed a narrow 3-2 win over new team She Was Only XI. Geri Hat-tricks picked up a points match win due to Shush failing to appear. The good news is that a new team are coming in to replace them from next week.

In Div 1 it was a bit of a mixed night as Norfolk In Way You're Winning went top of the table on goal difference as leaders Mind Of Mata failed to appear despite being top and having paid for their fixture, strange one. We will be contacting their captain today to find out what happened. In other results 2 Girls 1 Schlupp stay in third after a 6-0 win over Useless FC, Cream Rises made it back to back wins as they beat Kazakhstan 4-2 while Inter Yernan FC won a close match with Boobs N Doobs 2-1.
