In the exciting world of 6-a-side football, last night marked the 12th week of the much-anticipated Canvey Island Monday football league, with exhilarating matches played across three divisions named; Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

In the Premier League, there were some keenly contested matches. Scooby Snacks FC demonstrated their dominance over Bang Average with a thrilling 6-2 victory. In another clash of the titans, Talwin FC and Toby FC shared the spoils in a pulsating 2-2 draw, a testament to the competitive spirit of this division.

Moving onto Division 1, we saw Murder On Zidanes Floor carve out a hard-fought 5-3 victory over 8 BALL. Mason Beatwood soared in a high-scoring game against Thorney Bay FC, pulling out a sparkling 7-3 win. Almirons Army emerged victorious against Large Lunch FC with a tight 4-3 win, whereas Goals N Girls flexed their muscles against Balds Army, marching to a 6-2 win.

In Division 2, Britannia FC faced a crushing 9-3 loss against the unstoppable Nut In Your Mum Forest. Madeline Milan triumphed over Getafeme Mason with a 7-2 victory, whereas Munter Hunters Fc and Canvey Are Massive B had a neck-to-neck game ending in a tense 2-2 draw. 6 Offenders also managed to edge a victory over Diabetico Madrid in a nail-biting 2-1 encounter.

Unfortunately, due to the high stakes nature of the league, the top scorers for each division have not been named.
