MATCH NIGHT REPORT - ROUND 2

We returned tonight after a short break last week! 

We started the night with LeaveMyArselona v Benfleet Butchers. Both sides started the game well and attacked with numbers. Fridge again showed his power and strength up top for Butchers and cropped up with another 2 goals tonight. Despite that the game finished 4-4 and was a great one to watch. 

Then at 7:40 we had the other half, Madeline Milan v Loonatics FC. This was a great match up of 2 similar teams in terms of style of play. Milan took an early lead and Loonatics bounced back just after half time to make the game interesting with 15 to go. But Milan did a great job on the counter and scored another 3 goals and secured a 4-2 victory. 

Then at 8:20 we had No Cap United v Scratchers United. After a tough result in week 1, Scratchers were looking to bounce back tonight. Bounce back they did. A huge 9-2 victory gets their goal difference back within a week! A tough result for No Cap but it’s still very early doors yet. 

Our last game also at 8:20 saw Tottenham Hotsperm take on DBA. Again a close match up with both sides fielding players experienced from previous Thursday seasons. Hotsperm took a 2 goal lead at HT after great goals from Chris Lewis and Joe Daley but DBA bounced back. An end to end last 10 mins saw the game finish honours even. 3-3 final score in a very open game. 

Another great night for all our new sides in our Wednesday league. Look forward to seeing you all again next week.
