WEEKLY UPDATE 9TH AUGUST

A strange evening in Westhoughton as a player from Westhoughton Originals received a serious injury whilst attempting a turn on the pitch. I was gob smacked to hear that the ambulance did not show until after 10.30 which was over 3 hours after the injury occurred. We would like to wish the player all the best and we hope he makes a full recovery very soon and we see him at the league shortly.

I would also like to thank all teams for their patience and understanding as we were unable to to move the injured player from the pitch for the evening.

We were disappointed to see that HG Nelson failed to attend their fixture this week but we have already spoken to their team captain and he has confirmed that they will be back for this weeks fixture. I am still trying to get hold of Xavi Dodgers as they failed to show on the evening.
