Westhoughton Season Ends In Style

Its a huge congratulations to Hardy Athletic who have taken the prestigious Westhoughton Premier League title for the first time with a 3 - 1 victory over Lallanas In Pyjamas securing their first title after running close in previous seasons.  Captain Alex Redfern led the team to an emotional title with William Hooper and Lewis Grundy both of Hardly Athletic sharing the Player of the Season Trophy.

Klopps and Robbers maintained their good form with a 2 - 1 victory over 2 Goals 1 Cup to secure the runners up spot in the league with Sam Liptrot being the standout performer over the season.

All the teams will be looking to mount a solid challenge for the title next season and will no doubt be dipping into the transfer market to add strength in depth to their squads.
