Westhoughton Wednesday

Westhoughton Wednesday returned this week with Sam out looking to retain their title and got their season started with a victory.Elsewhere there were opening day victories for Weston Super Hans, Eggfried Reus and RB Light Cigs.We return next week with a clash between the early pace setters.

Its a huge congratulations to Sam out who have been crowned Champions of the Westhoughton Wednesday League for the first time.  They held off challenges from Peas and Beans Everywhere Paaal to take the title by a point.Focus now turns to the new season which starts this coming Wednesday!

This Wednesday 7th July's fixtures will be postponed and moved to the end of the season so we can all support England in the Euro 2020 Semi Final!We will return on Wednesday 14th July when hopefully England will be European Champions!!
