In a thrilling second week of the Brighton and Hove Thursday Football league, teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions clashed in a showcase of raw football prowess.

In the Premier League division, the evening was filled with high scores and intense gameplay. Als Pals FC battled against Flicky Minaj, with Flicky Minaj emerging victorious with an impressive 8 goals to Als Pals FC's 5. Corey and The Boys took on Immigrante FC, in a match that displayed the sheer offensive might of Corey and The Boys who scored a whopping 14 goals against Immigrante FC's commendable 8. A match between Futilely FC and Minky FC saw Minky FC outscoring Futilely FC by 8 goals to 5.

Josh from Corey and The Boys emerged as the top scorer for the Premier League division, hitting the back of the net a staggering six times.

In Division 1, FC Wandle proved to be the team to beat, scoring a massive 15 goals against Pin Universe, who managed to net two. London Road FC was unable to break Withdean Wanderers' solid defense, losing by 5 goals to nil. The Dadley Boyz triumphed over Sandra Youngboys with a clear cut win of 5 goals to 1.

Denchy of FC Wandle emerged as the top goal scorer for Division 1, matching Josh's tally with six goals.

This week's matches provided spectators with an adrenaline-charged series of games, with both divisions showcasing the vibrant local football talent. As we look forward to the next week, one can only wonder who will emerge as the new top scorers and which teams will rise to the occasion.
