Brighton And Hove Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 1

Brighton and Hove Thursday Night Football League kicked off their new season in thrilling fashion last night. The football enthusiasts in the area were treated to an exhilarating evening of action, as the teams from Premier League and Division 1 showcased their skills on the pitch.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League Division, The Hunters set the tone for the season with a 10-6 victory over Als Pals FC. The Hunters' Jessy was the standout player of the match, marking his presence in the league by scoring a total of four goals, making him the top scorer in the division. Adding to the excitement was a fiercely contested match between Sheffield Thursday and Ayew Ready, which ended 3-1 in favor of Ayew Ready. Immigrante FC also put up a strong fight but fell short against Futilely FC, losing 5-3.


DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, the action was just as intense. Topping the charts for the week was Threshold My Beer, who dominated the field and secured a staggering 19-2 victory over Exeter Gently FC. Harry Shersby-Wignall of Threshold My Beer led the scoring charts with an impressive five-goal haul, emerging as the top scorer in Division 1. The Dadley Boyz also started their campaign on a high note, triumphing 9-2 over Pin Universe.


As the action heats up and the competition gets fiercer, the rest of the season promises to be one to watch for all football fans in Brighton and Hove. With the top scorers Jessy and Harry Shersby-Wignall setting the pace, it will be interesting to see who will rise to the challenge in the coming weeks.
