The local 5-a-side football league, Brighton And Hove Thursday, wrapped up last night, and what a season it has been! After ten weeks of heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping football, the champions of the Premier League and Division 1 divisions have been crowned.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, we witnessed some electrifying showdowns this week. The Dadley Boyz went head to head with Ayew Ready in a game that ended with a score of 4-5. Futilely FC and Immigrante FC left us on the edge of our seats in an intense face-off that concluded with Futilely FC leading the scoreline, 9-8. AFC Tarner clashed with The Hunters, where the latter emerged victoriously with a 4-9 score. After an impressive season, Futilely FC clinched the Premier League title with a total of 15 points, bagging 7 wins.


In the Premier League division, Arthur Taylor from Immigrante FC impressed all by becoming the top scorer with a total of 5 goals.


DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, Als Pals FC managed to outshine Withdean Wanderers with a 7-3 victory, while Sheffield Thursday triumphed over Pin Universe with a 12-6 score. The division's top honour went to Als Pals FC, who ended the season with 13 points and six wins. Division 1's top scorer was Charlie Cartoni of Sheffield Thursday, who also netted an impressive total of 5 goals.


The Brighton And Hove Thursday league has once again proved to be a thrilling spectacle of local football talent, showcasing some spectacular performances and unforgettable moments. As we close the curtain on this season, we salute the collective efforts of all teams and can't wait for the next season to kick-off. Congratulations to Futilely FC and Als Pals FC, the deserving champions of their respective divisions.
