Hull Monday 6-a-side: A new season starts!

Although there were a handful of walkovers, there were some great contests on show at the Wolfreton school pitches in the Hull Sunday 6-a-side league as we began a brand-new season of this exciting league. 

In the Premier League, we started with a clash between last seasons’s runners-up Tripe and champs Stroke Titty, with the former emerging 3-1 winners for their first win of the season and the perfect start to their campaign. Maradona Kebab were also imperious, as they eased to a 5-0 win against Real SoSoBad.

7 Men No Cups kicked off the action in Division 1 with a superb 6-2 win over Virgins on Tour. Smart Dogs put in a great shift to win 6-1 against Swanland All-Stars in their pursuit of returning to the top division.

The only match played in Division 2 was between No Bitches on Pitches and Welton FC, with the former winning comfortably with a score of 5-1.
