The new season of the Hull Monday 6-a-side league at the Wolfreton School continued in full swing this week. Here are the highlights of the action.
In the Premier League, league leaders Maradona Kebab continued their sensational form, thrashing Smart Dogs 12-1. FCSB and Real SoSoBad remained deadlocked in a 1-1 draw, while Tripe picked up their second win as well, beating Stroke Titty 1-0.
Division 1 leaders the Academy edged past the Phoenix Club to a 1-0 win, while Crystal Meth Palace and Puff Daddy ended their cagey battle in a 0-0 stalemate. Inter the Van and Renford Rejects battled it out in a great matchup, going end-to-end before it finished in a 2-2 draw.
And in division 2, Ivory Toast picked up an incredible 7-0 win over Mercs FC to kick things off and move into top spot. After Swanland All-Stars’ walkover win against Man Titty, Yorkshire Vikings also put in a terrific shift, cruising to a 7-0 victory over Welton.
