The Hull Monday 6-a-side league rolled on with some more exciting games this week at the Wolfreton School in the penultimate round of the season.
In the Premier League, Tripe claimed a walkover, as Smart Dogs found a new gear, dismantling Crystal Meth Palace 7-1 for their first win of the season. Leaders Stroke Titty were held to a 1-1 draw by Hangover SV, but the latter fell down to third place. The final matchday will see the top two go head-to-head for the title
Division 1 leaders Barely Athletic showed no signs of slowing down, crushing 7 Men No Cups 11-0. Bumbaclarts and Puff Daddy remained deadlocked at 0-0 in a cagey fight, as Brian Munich claimed two important points with a 3-2 win over Real SoSoBAd.
In Division 2, Renford Rejects and Texas Oldman got walkovers, while Athletico Pathetico climbed out of the bottom two with an important 4-1 win over Fenerbackache. Ahead of the final round, the Division 2 title race is still just open.
