The Hull Monday 6-a-side league returned this week with a fresh season of fun and some great competition across all its three divisions.
In the Premier League, defending champions Willerby Warriors got off to the perfect start, beating Crystal Meth Palace FC 6-3 in a fantastic opening game. Stroke Titty pipped last season's runners-up Tripe FC for a 2-1 win, while newly-promoted sides Virgins on Tour and Smart Dogs played out a 2-2 draw.
Division 1 matches featured newly-promoted Barely Athletic bursting onto the scene, breezing past Bumbaclarts 8-2. Real SoSoBad beat Puff Daddy FC 3-0, as Corey FC won a hard-fought match against promoted 7 Men No Cups.
In Division 2, Texas Oldman made a fine start in an attempt to improve on their poor previous campaign, beating Athletico Pathetico 4-1. Inter YaNan started well with 3-2 win over Renford Rejects in their bid to bounce back after relegation. Fenerbackache edged past Punisher 1-0 in another tight contest.
