The Hull 6-a-side league featured some great battles this Monday as the season nears its conclusion.
The Premier League games kicked off with Crystal Meth Palace taking on Bumbaclarts and winning 2-1 in a tight game, to leap into third place. Table-toppers Willerby Warriors then beat Tripe FC 5-2, as Stroke Titty and Corey FC played out arguably the most high-octane game of the week. The former claimed a 7-4 win to enter the top two in an end-to-end affair.
Smart Dogs FC beat Inter Ya Nan 3-2 to start off Division 1 proceedings, as Virgins On Tour climbed into the top two with a great 5-0 win over Real SoSoBad. Puff Daddy FC and Only Matip In FC were locked in a 1-1 stalemate.
Division 2 action kicked off with Barely Athletic claiming a 2-0 victory over Fenerbackache, while 7 Men No Cups got a walkover and a resilient Renford Rejects managed to hold texas Oldman to a surprise 1-1 draw for only their second point of the season. The Rejects were still able to climb into the top two with the draw, however.
