In a thrilling conclusion to the Hull Monday 6-a-side Football League, the 14th and final week of the season saw some electrifying performances in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Snorting clinched the league title in a final game playoff between arch rivals Tripe to claim their first title clinched the title with an emphatic 4-0 following both teams winning in their previous league games to leave them tied on points. They finished the season with an impressive tally of 26 points and 13 wins, setting a benchmark for other teams. Yorkies also made their presence felt with a 5-0 whitewash victory over CitroenHull. 

The drama in Division 1 was equally palpable, as Chico XI emerged victorious, securing the title with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over DT TIGERS. Their impressive season run resulted in a total of 24 points and 12 wins. A notable performance also came from Jizz Caserole, who claimed a 4-0 victory over Renford Rejects, ending their season on a high.

This season’s final week was an absolute spectacle, highlighting the competitive spirit and talent within the Hull Monday league. It was an extraordinary display of skill and sportsmanship in both divisions.

Congratulations to Snorting Lisbon and Chico XI for their well-deserved victories. Their consistent performances throughout the season have set them apart and we look forward to more such exhilarating football in the upcoming seasons.

The Hull Monday 6-a-side Football League has surely set the bar high for local football, and based on this season's action, the next one promises to be even better. We are delighted to be expanding the league to two division of 10 teams. We have 2 spaces available so please get signed up now to clinch the final spaces.  This season will conclude on the 16th December before a 2 week break. Seasoned veterans of the league will know that during January to March, our time slot changes to 8-9pm. In a different move, we will alternate divisions during this time meaning one week the premier division will play only, then division one the week after meaning each team will have a week off every other week. We return to normal time slots from the end of March.

Please note, due to a closure at Wolfreton on Monday 21 October we will be playing matches for that week at Hull Trinity House Academy 3G on Temple Street, HU5 1AD.
